Supports in Place!

My husband has come back from his work trip and will be home for the next two weeks at least before he has to leave again.

THIS means that I can do some more editing at home as opposed to only being able to get the time to do it on my lunch break at my Day Job. This will hopefully mean a sooner publication date.

I need to finish my edit and do my format so I might not have time to do all of these things before he leaves again. But having him home to help out with the Boy, the Dog and the household chores will definitely give me that extra time to hide in our bedroom for an hour or to hide in the dining room for an hour and pound away at the keys.

I’m really scared and excited at the same time as I draw closer to actually publishing. I’m scared people will hate it. I’m excited because it’s my first step out there and will help pave the way for the other stories that are rambling around in my brain.

Time to put on some music and drift away πŸ™‚

Laura Marshall AKA The Starving Writer

I’m with you on finding time to write when the husband is away. I also have boys and animals, so writing time is at a premium. Good luck getting all your writing done in the next two weeks πŸ™‚

Thanks!!! I just hope I can do it without feeling bad I’m not spending family time. That’s the worst thing to combat: guilt! Not that they make me feel guilty at all. It’s all self-imposed πŸ˜›
